Martyn is back in Wigton for three workshops and the option of sharing afternoon tea together afterwards at the beautiful Greenhill Hotel.

Martyn is delighted to share with you the physical benefits of yoga for building strength in the core, upper and lower body and releasing tension in the shoulders and hips, two key areas affected by high impact activity and the physical demands of modern life.

An Ironman competitor, Martyn has seen how yoga has helped keep his body supple while gaining strength and endurance. Yoga helps us work towards balance in every aspect of our lives and we will explore this through all workshops, making the most of the strengths you have to deepen your experience of your body and bring awareness and control where needed.

Martyn also works as a counsellor, interweaving the amazing emotional and psychological benefits yoga provides theoretically and practically to help bring about peace of mind, confidence, self belief and transformation.

The final workshop will help you understand and practice the amazing and well documented benefits of bringing control to the breath before bringing together the day's work in a well deserved Yoga Nidra, a state of deep meditation experience, sometimes known as being "yoga stoned"; it has to be experienced to be believed.

The whole day is suitable for absolute beginners as well as experienced practitioners looking for a different take on yoga and its vast physical, emotional and spiritual benefits, presented in a fun, warm and genuine way.

These workshops are suitable for anyone wanting to explore strength and flexibility in these key areas and there are particular benefits available by integrating yoga into your life or, for athletes, into a training program:
